Tuesday ...... the day that is Not monday

Today is tuesday. I have 2 more days left of working in my current job, and then I'm off to my new job!!! :) SO excited for the new opportunity that is coming up. I really hope that it is a good one. I go in optimistic and yet careful.

In other news, Dave came back from Korea on saturday and it was really really nice to see him!! We got breakfast, he rested off some jet lag, and we celebrated my promotion!!! :) Yay!

Basically a lazy weekend with dave. The night before I went to Geoff's birthday celebration, which was a bit drama filled in my opinion, but only a bit, and a ton of fun. It was cool to see everyone, like both of the jens, who I have not seen in a long time!! Also, it was nice hanging out with amy, she is really cool.

Other than that, I am just cleaning a bit because I'm feeling lazy t oday, and dave's sister and her boyfriend are visiting us this weekend. I like having visitors and I think we will have a great time! Our plans are to do tourist stuff (I probably won't do that), bumbershoot, Jen H's bday, mount ranier, etc..... I have not been to mount ranier yet, so I am excited for that.

So far this weekend is pretty good. I met up with Liz and some of her friends last night, and had some fabulous sushi at my fave restaurant umi sake house! It was so so good and we got put in the special room in the back that I have always wanted to sit at! :)

Then, we did a mini bar hop which was also a ton of fun...:) I just had a really great time, and I realized that I don't go out enough, and I like to go out!

Today, I woke up early, and lucked out, and got to talk to DAve on gmail talk this morning. It was really nice, and he told me about his experience in korea so far.

I had to call his parents to let them know that he got in safe, and I did this on the way to breakfast with alyssa, but now I'm really sleepy so just chilling and relaxing before tonight.

candy runs

When Dave and I first started liking each other, and we were too nervous to hang out, we would go on candy runs together. It started out with us iming each other and talking about m&m's. I said, you should go to meijers and get me some m&m's, but he refused. Refused? I was not used to being refused. But, then he came to hang out with me the next day and had a "surprise" PEANUT
BUTTER M&MS!!! WE ate them and cuddled on my couch. WE threw them at each other and tried to catch them, it was cute, trust me. Anyway then we would call each other at the library and go on candy runs, for me it was just to see him because I liked him and it was an excuse to hang out. :)


So, Dave is going on a biz trip to south korea tomorrow, and he went to run some last minute errands. HE came back here with a surprise for me, PEANUT BUTTER M&M's it was so cute and sweet. I am going to miss him a ton!!
