Amanda is injured!!!

Last night, I did happy hour with my friend danielle we went to Lolas it was very very good and entertaining. Picture drunk guys from idaho saying very funny things and then getting in a cab with a beer in hand. Anyway, then dave met up with us and we headed to umi happy hour. I am a regular at umi, so the bartender know my name, and is very nice to me. We orderered some yummy food, and then the incident happened.... dunh dunh dunh dah...... uhoh.... my friend danielle noticed the bamboo above the bar and was like I think this one is loose so she pulled on it, and it flung and hit me in the head!! owch!!! Painful!! painful!! She went up and got me ice and I wanted to cry. I know it was not my friend's fault and I am not mad at her and she felt horrible, absolutely horrible, so I was somehow able to control my tears while she was there, but then I was crying a lot and not sure what to do. It ruined my night and made my head in tons of pain. I took advil and had ice on it and called the 24 hour support to my doctors to make sure what I should check for. So, I'm okay, but my head still kills!!

Happy birthday Michelle and Amy! Congrats Laura!

This weekend was a lot of fun! Dave's sister, Rachel, and her boyfriend, Brett, came to visit us, and we played tour guides. We went out for jen's bday and dinner, climbed some of mount rainier, saw musicians at bumbershoot, and checked out tons of neighborhoods. Overall, an extremely exhausting weekend!


Today is full of great news. First, today is both Amy and Michelle's birthdays and also, my good friend Laura Fletcher just got engaged this weekend!! I am so excited and happy for her!! Also things are looking up for her in terms of work opportunities, also very exciting!

Congrats Laura!! Can't wait to hear more about your wedding plans coming up!! Happy birthday michelle and amy!
